Digital Photoshop Collage
This image turned out looking completely different from my original idea! (I'm possibly possessed by wicked Collage Demons!) Anyways, I spent the better part of a lifetime looking for the right images to use. I found some funny websites about mustaches: [link] (about a workplace mustache competition) [link] (about the World Championships in Beards) (the 2007 event is held where I live! Hurrah!) In the end I settled for a field and sky background stock from istockphoto: [link] but I had to change it quite a lot, remove tractors and clouds and such... The 50's illustrated man and the pattern for the tweed frame is from DustyOldStock's wonderful stock gallery: [link] I tried to keep this one really restrained and just use black and white and (sort of) the elementary colours. Lately I been liking to make really oddly shaped things, too bad when I put them on here they look teeny-weeny in the preview and need to be scrolled down/ to the side when zooming in. Anyone got any nifty tricks to minimize this? Oh yeah, I made this for the mustachios gallery/group that used to be here on deviant, I only just now realized that it's not in action no more-that's a shame I love mustache pictures! Hot Chocolate and Cream to you all for looking and reading this, x |

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
