The full title is:
"The Infinite Sadness of the Humble Servant"
Dedicated to Slophia, my pet slug, whom I would not ask to clean the ring on the bathtub off, as she is a guest.
Digital collage textured in ArtRage and Photoshop. Full view is probably better.
Thanks to istockphoto for various images and to touchy-stock [link] for the bowl photo.

That is great a idea to have a snail clean a bathtub. Maybe I will buy mom some snails to clean the bathrooms in the house. I once tried using snails to clean my aquarium, but my turtles ate them all. I also saw a snail the other day when my mother and I were hailing out the boat slip from the lake. The snail was attached to one of the waterlogged cedar rails. The texture and colours you used kind of give the picture a Rainy Dohaney (Renee French's other name) quality. Actually your texture is a lot richer.

Hurrah!
I thought it was time to make a picture without any people in it :)
I liked your last king picture the other day, I really liked how his crown matched the wallpaper

Haha!
It is a very excellent picture, it looks like someone could enter any moment! Snaily better get a move on. :)
Cool, thanks! It was the wallpaper that gave me the idea!

But doesn't she leave a slime trail in place of the ring in the bath?

I was just up in the garden checking on the beer traps and due to all the rain earlier there were lots of slugs and snails drowned in them and many more heading slowly, yet inevitably, towards their deaths. My friend remarked that it was like having concentration camps in the garden.

Maybe it is the mucus that disolves the dirt or maybe the snail eats it, however the mucusring might need another animal to clean that up (ladybird?) and so on until nothing is left but a clean tub.
Have you tried putting a thickish layer of vaseline round the rims of the pots? (if in pots) that should make them fall down. I have a customer who goes out at night and cuts them in half and throws them over the fence.
Thanks for the favourite, I sure appreciate it :)

The snails I pick up and put across the road. It gives them a chance to go somewhere else or risk crossing the road to get back to my beautiful plants. I don't have the heart to cut up slugs so I use the slug pubs to keep there numbers down. They can be noisey some nights though. Maybe I need to take some home to clean ther bathroom.
